I don’t usually like to reblog, but this is just a stunning photograph. The contours of the woman’s body and the accentuation of light and shadow. As soon as I see the shadow on the wall, I think of Death, and generally of mortality. Is it a shadow, or is it an actual figure? I like the ambiguity in the photograph. I swear I can see folds of Death’s cloak at the sleeve, but not entirely sure.
