Do they even make index cards anymore?
When we still lived in England, my father bought my brother an index card box and some such index cards. They always fascinated me and I wanted a similar such box. My father wrote words on them to help my brother learn to read.
Hence my fondness for them still. I’d already learnt to read (and by the time my brother got said cards and box, I was bilingual) so no box for me.
